Éverton dos Santos Lopes (born August 8, 1988 in Salvador de Bahia) is a Brazilian amateur boxer best known to win the lightweight silver medal at the 2007 Pan American Games.

Career

At the South American Games 2006 the 18-year old lost the final to Darley Perez. He won the PanAm junior Championships but lost the quarterfinal at the World Junior Championships 2006 to eventual winner Roniel Iglesias 24:39. In the final of the PanAms (seniors) 2007 he lost to Cuban world champ Yordenis Ugas.

He won the 2008 Dominican tournament "Copa Independencia" vs. local Jonathan Batista who had beaten him in the final the year before. At the first Olympic qualifier he lost again to Ugas, at the second he beat fighters like Francisco Vargas to qualify for Beijing. There he was upset by little-known Asylbek Talasbaev 7:9.
